Magura, the south-western district of Bangladesh, is one of the smaller districts in the country. The distance of this district under Khulna division is 176 km from Dhaka by road. Rajbari district to the north, Jessore and Narail to the south, Faridpur to the east and Jhenaidah district to the west.
