List of Municipality

Municipality is a unit of urban autonomous system in the country.
All administrative activities in the city start from here.
And the "mayor" is the officer of the highest municipal government in a city or a provincial capital. A mayor conducts several municipalities, as the chief executive or other official duty of the municipality.

In other words, municipality or municipality is a unit of urban autonomous system in Bangladesh. In a municipality, meetings, discussions, meetings and decisions are made about a urban developmental activities.

City Corporation: City Corporation's autonomous unit of metropolitan cities of Bangladesh.

According to the Local Government (City Corporation) Act, 2009 (Act No. 20 of 2009), all the responsibilities of the city corporation, including the determination of the boundaries of wards, the integrity of the area and the extent possible, the population structure, the notification in the official Gazette, the City Corporation.
